Open bank account, registration at municipality and applying for BSN number
If you live and work in the Netherlands for a longer period of time you can open a Dutch bank account. For this, a Citizen Service Number is required. You can get it at the municipality where you are registered.
Registration with the municipality is based on identification of personal data and a signed rental agreement. Holland Relocation also guides this process, makes appointments with the municipality and the bank and a consultant will be present at these appointments for explanation and possible translation.
